To convey a significantly different image for a dvd player among the sea of similar looking products, yamakawa decided to go for a unique, more sculptural yet reduced look for their new device. While innovative design and appearance was a primary goal, the client was equally focused on important functional aspects, like stackability and to stay within common dimensions. In this highly competitive market segment, our design gave this start-up company the opportunity to use strong visuals to launch their brand.
